3-star safety Tristan Dunn flips pledge to Washington from Arizona State
Sumner (Wash.) safety Tristan Dunn has flipped his commitment to Washington from Arizona State, he announced Tuesday afternoon.
Dunn is the No. 463 prospect in the 2022 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 49 safety and the No. 7 prospect in Washington.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder is the Huskies’ ninth member of their 2022 class, which ranks No. 85 nationally, according to the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.

Tristan Dunn initially committed to ASU on July 21, but flipped to UW after taking an official visit on Jan. 21. The Sun Devils recently lost a number of assistant coaches, including Dunn’s primary recruiter, Chris Hawkins, after a slew of NCAA recruiting violations.
His commitment is the second in the past 24 hours for Washington, which also landed cornerback Jaivion Green on Monday.
