Gurdak on his commitment to Virginia Tech
Christian Gurdak went in-depth on his decision to choose Virginia Tech with On3.
“I ultimately chose Virginia Tech because I really connected with coach Young and the rest of the staff. I also really liked their plan to help me reach my full potential and they have great facilities. Coach Young has been recruiting me since freshman year before I even played my first game, so we’ve built a great relationship. He also is really good at developing bigs and had stats and film to prove it.”

In his own words, what type of player is Virginia Tech getting in Gurdak?
“I would describe my game as a gritty blue-collar brand of basketball that I really think matches Virginia Tech’s style. I’m also a player that does anything I can to help the team win, no matter what.”
He has a message for Hokies fans.
“I couldn’t be more happy to be a Hokie and I’m super excited to work and help bring championships to Blacksburg.”
