3-star linebacker Ethan Crisp commits to Vanderbilt
Just a few days after his unofficial visit to Vanderbilt, three-star Mount Juliet (Tenn.) linebacker Ethan Crisp committed to the Commodores on Thursday afternoon.
Crisp is the No. 590 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 59 linebacker and the No. 19 junior prospect in Tennessee.

The 6-foot-3, 203-pounder chose Vandy over offers from Kentucky, Michigan, Louisville, Wisconsin, Tennessee and more than a dozen others. After visiting the Wildcats in January, Crisp made the short trip to Vanderbilt this weekend and ultimately locked in his pledge.
He is Vanderbilt’s second commitment in the 2023 cycle, joining three-star Denham Springs (La.) QB Reese Mooney.
