Four-Star TE Eric Karner commits to Texas A&M
Four-star tight end Eric Karner of Itasca (IL) Immaculate Conception announced his commitment to Texas A&M Thursday afternoon.
The 6-foot-5, 225 pounder chose the Aggies over Florida and Alabama.
Karner on why he chose Texas A&M
“When I walked through the doors I knew it was home,” Karner said. “The coaching staff, the facilities, the academics, is all great and I can see myself becoming a better player and person there.”

“Coach Coley and I have a great relationship and he plans on using me as more of a vertical deep threat tight end.”
Karner ranks as the No. 402 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 28 tight end and the No. 11 player in the state of Illinois.
