Four-Star TE Eric Karner commits to Texas A&M

Four-star tight end Eric Karner of Itasca (IL) Immaculate Conception announced his commitment to Texas A&M Thursday afternoon.

The 6-foot-5, 225 pounder chose the Aggies over Florida and Alabama.

“When I walked through the doors I knew it was home,” Karner said. “The coaching staff, the facilities, the academics, is all great and I can see myself becoming a better player and person there.”

Karner ranks as the No. 402 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 28 tight end and the No. 11 player in the state of Illinois.

The Illinois tight end joins coach Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies’ top 20 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by four-star defensive lineman Dealyn Evans, four-star safety Jordan Pride, and others.
