Tennessee LB Sam Haley commits to TCU
Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth linebacker Sam Haley announced his commitment to TCU on Friday, choosing to play for head coach Sonny Dykes and the Horned Frogs.
The other programs the 6-foot-3, 210-pound Haley strongly considered included North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Missouri and Michigan State.

Haley visited Fort Worth in late April.
“It was a combination of things for sure,” he said of why he chose the Horned Frogs. “I had a great first impression with the coaching and recruiting staff early on and they continued to show the love to me through out my recruitment.”

Haley becomes commit No. 9 for TCU in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
“I built an amazing relationship with the staff that made me feel like I am a perfect fit in their program,” Haley said. “I also loved the campus itself. TCU has an amazing campus that made me fall in love with TCU before even viewing the football facilities!”
Prior to Haley’s commitment, TCU had On3’s No. 29 ranked class.
