2024 safety Kaden McFadden flips commitment from Duke to TCU
Texarkana (Texas) Pleasant Grove three-star safety Kaden McFadden has decommited from Duke and flipped his commitment to TCU, he announced on Monday.
He had previously been committed to the Blue Devils since June, when he chose them over offers from Louisiana Tech, Louisiana-Monroe, Houston and more.

“After careful consideration, prayer, and conversations with my family I have decided to de-commit from Duke University,” he wrote on Twitter. “I want to thank the Duke staff and coaches for all the love shown throughout the process. Thank you Duke!”
McFadden has recently seen an uptick in his recruitment and visited TCU over the weekend.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder is the No. 1316 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 132 safety and the No. 189 recruit in Texas.
