Wylie (Texas) East 2023 three-star running back Terrell Washington Jr. has decommitted for Purdue, he announced on Thursday.

“I would like to thank God, for blessing me continuously,” he wrote on Twitter. “I would like to thank my family, friends, teammates and coaches who have been supportive throughout this entire process. In light of recent changes at Purdue University, I have decided to de-commit and reopen my recruitment. This journey has shown me that change is inevitable. With that change I must trust myself, my family and that God will direct my path. I will be thorough with the remaining time of this recruiting process and look forward to an announcement once my family and I have come to a decision.”
