Chicago athlete Jalil Martin commits to Nebraska during official visit
Chicago Kenwood Academy wide receiver Jalil Martin committed Saturday to Nebraska.
Martin made the announcement while on an official visit to Lincoln, Neb., for the Cornhuskers game against Ohio State. He is the only official visitor at Memorial Stadium.
While he listed as a wide receiver in On3’s Database, his future may be on the defensive side of the ball in the secondary. The Omaha World-Herald called Martin a defensive back in their story on the commitment.
The 6-foot-3 Martin chose Nebraska over Colorado, Illinois, Ole Miss and others.
