3-star OT Charlie Symonds commits to NC State
Watertown (Conn.) The Taft School three-star offensive tackle Charlie Symonds has committed to NC State, announcing the news Thursday on social media.
He is the No. 685 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Symonds is the second-best recruit playing in the state of Connecticut after four-star offensive tackle Olaus Alinen out Windsor (Conn.) The Loomis Chaffee School.
NC State has four recruits in its 2023 recruiting class, headlined by Havelock (N.C.) four-star tight end Javonte Vereen and Charlotte (N.C.) West Charlotte three-star offensive tackle Darion Rivers. Vereen is the only four-star prospect in the group at the moment.
