Kim Mulkey revealed on Thursday that all but one member of her 2025-26 roster plans return to LSU next season. One plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal — former five-star recruit Divine Bourrage.

Bourrage appeared in 24 games for LSU during her lone season in Baton Rouge. She averaged 2.1 points per game.

Based on Mulkey’s statement — Milaysia Fulwiley, Mikaylah Williams, Jada Richard, Kate Koval, Grace Knox, ZaKiyah Johnson, Bella Hines and Meghan Yarnevich would all be expected to return next season. The LSU head coach spoke highly of her returning group in a recent sit-down interview.

“You cannot understand the value of having all of them come back,” Mulkey told WAFB-TV’s Jacques Doucet. “That’s how you build it. That’s how you get over that hump of an Elite Eight. When you look at those that are coming back — freshman, freshman, sophomore, junior sophomore — and look how much they did this year.

“And so, man, if they come back, they stay together, they play together. That’s how you build it. That’s the way it’s supposed to be done, so I am blessed that all of those great players are coming back.”

LSU’s season finished in the Sweet 16 in a loss to Duke at the buzzer. The heart-breaking loss ended the college career of longtime Tigers point guard Flau’jae Johnson. She was a part of Mulkey’s only championship team since arriving in Baton Rouge, and will move on to the WNBA Draft as LSU looks ahead to the 2026-27 season.

Mulkey, 63, dispelled rumors of her retirement shortly after LSU’s loss in the NCAA Tournament. She said that she plans to “get in the portal and get two or three more players,” as well as hiring a pair of new assistant coaches.

The NCAA transfer portal opens on April 6 for women’s basketball — the day after the national championship is played. With much of Mulkey’s roster already in place, like she said, only a couple of portal additions are needed. Additionally, LSU welcomes in McDonald’s All-American guard Lola Lampey as its lone freshman after bringing four into the program last year.
