Jaray Jenkins addresses what rivalry with Florida means
A redshirt senior, Jaray Jenkins has more experience against Florida than most players on the LSU roster. It’s one of the most important rivalries in the SEC, often propelling one team or the other forward. There have also been weird and strange outcomes, like Florida losing because Marco Wilson threw a shoe. Even when these teams aren’t at their best, it’s a must-watch game.
While speaking to the media, Jaray Jenkins was asked what the rivalry with Florida means to him. He chose to downplay it, pointing out that Florida is just the next game on the schedule.
“You know, it’s a rivalry, but, you know, everybody’s ready for it,” Jaray Jenkins said. “We ain’t worried about it too much like that.”

“We’re just worried about it as the next game on our schedule. We’ve still got to play ball. We’ve still got to do what we do best and we just got to do our assignments and come out with the victory.”
