2025 OT Jack Shaffer commits to Iowa State
Bismarck (N.D.) three-star offensive tackle Jack Shaffer has committed to Iowa State, he announced on Wednesday.
Shaffer chose the Cyclones over offers from Wisconsin, Duke, Kansas State and North Dakota State.
“Absolutely thrilled to announce that I’ve committed to IOWA ST,” he wrote on Twitter. “Thank you to my friends, family, and the Iowa State staff. I can’t wait to get back to Iowa st. I am thankful to be a future cyclone!”

The 6-foot-7, 320-pounder is the No. 599 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 40 offensive tackle and the No. 2 recruit in North Dakota.
On3 is slightly higher on him than other services though, tabbing him as the No. 33 offensive tackle nationally and a high three-star prospect.
