4-star DL Christian Garrett commits to Georgia: "It is the school I always wanted to play for"
Bogart (Ga.) Prince Avenue Christian four-star defensive lineman Christian Garrett has committed to Georgia, he told On3.
Garrett said that Georgia is the team he grew up following, and that it’s a “great feeling” to now be in the position he is in.
“I committed to Georgia because they have everything I want in a program,” he said. “It is the school I always wanted to play for. I gave everyone a chance, but Georgia is where I want to be.
“Clemson, Georgia Tech, Tennessee and others did a great job, but Georgia has everything I am looking for.”
Garrett just finished up his official visit to Athens and committed to Georgia today. He said that Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart and assistant coach Tray Scott were both excited about his decision.

“The player development and hard work at Georgia was big,” Garrett said. “They develop guys at my position and put guys like me in the league. They have a plan for me. Georgia is second to none in player development and building men.”
Garrett is the nation’s No. 128 overall prospect, No. 10 defensive lineman and No. 16 recruit from Georgia in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
On3 is significantly higher on Garrett than the other three major recruiting services. He ranks No. 62 overall and No. 5 among defensive linemen in the 2025 On300.
