Florida hosts its first spring game under new head coach Jon Sumrall on Saturday. However, there will be several Gators unavailable for the showcase, according to Andrew Abadie of the Gainesville Sun.

This includes several players on both sides of the football. These include:

WR Dallas Wilson
WR Davian Grace
RB Antony Rubio
OL Fletcher Westphal
OL Roderick Kearney
OL Chancellor Campbell
CB CJ Bronaugh
DL Jalen Wiggins
DL Kendall Guervil
DL Mason Clinton

The two big names omitted from Saturday’s scrimmage are Dallas Wilson And Davian Grace. Florida fans are excited to see what the wide receiver duos can do out wide in 2026.

Grace is an incoming freshman and a top 10 wideout from this past season’s recruiting class. Wilson was similarly ranked coming out of the 2025 class. He had a promising start to the season with 12 receptions for 174 yards and three receiving touchdowns during his redshirt year.

Earlier in the offseason, Sumrall said that Wilson is limited to start the season “out of an abundance of caution” while he deals with a foot injury. Notably, the Florida WR had surgery on his foot after the season.

“If we’re playing a game, he’s practicing,” Sumrall said. “But I’ve got a pretty good pulse of what he’s about and what kind of player he is, so we’re going to be smart-tough there, not dumb-tough.”

Elsewhere on the list, Sumrall considered OL Fletcher Westphal (wrist) limited to begin spring. He listed players such as DL Kendall Guervil (knee), DL Jalen Wiggins (hip), CB CJ Bronaugh (shoulder), OL Chancellor Campbell (knee) and OL Daniel Pierre Louis (hip) as out for the entire spring.

Unfortunately for Gators fans, Saturday’s spring showcase will not be available to watch live. Instead, On3’s Gators Online is providing live updates on the game live from The Swamp for fans to stay up to date on how Sumrall’s first showing as head coach at Florida turns out.
