Onovughe received an offer from Colorado’s coaching staff in August and took an official visit to Stanford in September. But he tripped to Boulder over the weekend for the Buffaloes’ game against Oregon and committed to the team’s interim coaching staff.
He is Mater Dei’s leading receiver this season with 40 catches for 457 yards and four touchdowns.
Onovughe is Colorado’s 19th commitment in the 2023 cycle, and the Buffs currently hold the No. 52 class nationally in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.
