Clemson senior Will Putnam makes Rimington Trophy watch list
Clemson’s trenches will be led by senior Will Putnam this season. The college football world has Putnam as one of the best.
Putnam saw his name included on the Rimington Trophy Award watch list heading into the 2022 football season. The Rimington Award goes to the best center in college football.

Putnam will be working toward trying to learn the position this fall before pursuing the award as the country’s best.
Putnam has played 1,615 snaps over 22 starts in the last two years at guard. He is entering his first season as Clemson’s center. Putnam was a four-star recruit coming out of Tampa Bay (Fla.) Plant in the class of 2019.
